“What the Zionist regime has done in Gaza and Lebanon is not a victory, it is a war crime. Now they have issued arrest warrants for them. This is not enough!,” he said.
“A death sentence must be issued for Netanyahu and the criminal leaders of this regime,” khamenei stressed during a meeting with Islamic militia members in Tehran.
Iran’s highest political and religious authority also pointed out that the Zionist offensive against Hamas in Palestine and Hezbollah in Lebanon is fruitless. “Bombing civilian homes is not a victory. The enemy has not won in Gaza or Lebanon, and it will not win,” he asserted.
Last week, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip. The decision was celebrated by Iranian political and military authorities.
“The International Criminal Court’s verdict is a victory for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples,” said Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, on Friday.
